Dr Craig Prescott is a Senior Lecturer in Law and Director of the Centre for Parliament and Public Law at the University of Winchester. Before this he was a Visiting Lecturer at King’s College London and The University of Manchester. He has also taught at Manchester Metropolitan University and the China-EU School of Law at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing.

His primary expertise lies in Constitutional Law, particularly political parties, elections, parliament and the monarchy. The University of Manchester awarded Craig’s PhD in 2015, which focused on the processes used to change the UK constitution and how these processes could be improved. He also teaches Equity and Trusts and Property Law, building on experience gained in the City of London.

Craig is a member of the Study of Parliament Group, the Westminster Strategic Studies Group, Society of Legal Scholars and UK Constitutional Law Association.
